The WordPress WebOps platform I needed

I started designing websites in 2008 and have spent more than 15 years working across WordPress, UX, and product development. As a former top-100 WordPress developer on Envato Studio, I delivered more than 1,000 client projects. The work was rewarding, but the operations behind every website were fragmented. Updates lived in one dashboard, backups in another, staging somewhere else, while monitoring, recovery, and client reporting required even more tools.

I originally started SiteSkite as a better way to maintain multiple WordPress websites. But as I continued building it and working with agencies, I realized that maintenance was only one part of the problem. WordPress professionals needed an operational layer for the complete website lifecycle, from creation and testing to deployment, monitoring, automation, recovery, and reporting.

That realization transformed SiteSkite into WebOps for WordPress. Today, it brings AI site generation, sandboxes, reusable Blueprints, multi-site management, MCP-powered operations, backups, recovery, and client reports into one workspace. It works with existing WordPress hosting and lets users bring their own AI models and cloud storage, so they remain in control.

I spent more than four years building and refining SiteSkite before launching it publicly in November 2024. I waited because I thought the product needed to feel complete first. What I learned is that products become better when real users help shape them.

SiteSkite is the platform I wish I had while managing WordPress projects. Launching on AppSumo is the next step in building it alongside the agencies, freelancers, and WordPress professionals it was created for.
