Just wanted to ask what type of clients you closed sales for using the AppSumo Sales Workshop?
I live in the UK too but always find lot of the information heavily biased towards the US market.

The five sales I made were mostly people I knew: 3 friends, 1 client and one person I didn't know. That's because I was in the validation stage of "how to make your first dollar" where we validate our idea first with the contacts we have already.
My idea was an ebook. I wanted to see if people wanted it first before I wrote it.
I posted in FB and in my FB groups, and to my super small email list.
I used anti-selling and painting the picture techniques. Noah explains these well.
You can see the super quick webpage I made to get those sales.
If you think it is easy to sell to people you already know it isn't. I've had around 25 products and services and NONE of my friends have ever bought into any of them.
I recommend HTMYFD to everyone. You get access to the workshop if you sign up. If not, then the $10 investment is really nothing compared to what chief sumo will share. He really does want people to succeed.
Now I am writing my ebook and when it is finished I'll move on to the next stage of the course and sell to people I don't know.
Many thanks for the reply, I really appreciate you taking time out to give me your feedback.
I'll give the $10 sales offer a try an d see how I go, I've brought so much stuff lately that my head is going around in circles.
I piloting my business at the moment and hoping to launch the first week in August, I'm web developer/designer and I've building wanting to set-up by myself for years than I can remember but didn't have the courage or support to do it.
So finger crossed all goes well and I can build successful business and have a legacy to hand over to my son.
Well that's enough of me rambling on, take care and good luck with your business and future product launch.
As seen on
