This fat-ass Sumo sends you one MASSIVE money-saving deal on tech stuff for startups (like apps and software)... everyday.

Which one was easier to understand (and possibly more offensive)?

You're right, the second one. That's 'cause it doesn't contain all the bloated "buzzwords" most businesses use. I mean, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WRITE LIKE THAT?

Ok ok, the above example was a cheap-shot example. How about some proof that words on the page make MORE MONEY? How 'bout this for proof:

There was an article in the New York Times called "Groupon's Fate Hinges on Words".

The article goes on to say how Groupon is OBSESSIVE over what they write on their deal pages... because after millions of split tests, they've shown that the right words can DRAMATICALLY INCREASE THEIR CONVERSION RATES (aka mo' monaaayy when they send out a deal).

Ok, so one of the fastest growing companies ever places MASSSSSIVE emphasis on the words on the page.

This tells us words MIGHT be important... uber important.

Now there is a well-documented science behind writing like this. Many people attempt to write in this fashion, but don't know how to sell correctly.

Look bro... i loved your kopy kourse... i think it was money well spent.

But please, stop defending yourself here. Take with easy the negative feedback that you're receiving from some people, alright?

I know that you have this unprofessional style of yours, which is cool some times and i really believe it sells...but wow... stop saying to people that their writing sucks without really even know how well (or how bad) they write, like if your're the god of copy writing.

So calm the f-down.

They are only costumers that gave you their hard earned money. Complains are expected, even if you're Apple.

For me, personally, the only really nice thing of this course (which worth the money, so congrats) is that you demonstrated in real time how you write your copies.

Your product is nice, but for the price charged, it could be WAAAAYYY better, from the content it self to the design of it's pages.

So...again, nice work, cool product... but pay attention on how you treat your costumers next time.

I don't think the writing style here is for everyone, but there are a lot of excellent techniques and guidelines that would apply to anyone's copy. If you've studied marketing for a while, you won't learn much, but if you're just getting into it, it's a good place to start. Great recommendations for next steps are given at the end.

This course contained some interesting info but a lot of it was padding, or you may have already seen it before if you have bought other courses or listened to the Mixergy interview.
Also the Key info suggested there would be a members area - which I was expecting an area for discussion. All this means is access to the course.

Other courses on AppSumo are great but this one falls short - less padding next time please

I can't believe all these lame-ass 5 taco reviews...you must be thinking. I was suspicious before purchasing too.

Even after I watched the course I was thinking, what did I just pay for? Was I ripped off?

I put it to practice and BAZINGA! This stuff works! It works more than my Grandpa...who was a really hard working man.

I just finished writing our first email using the techniques in the course, sent to a list over two years old. Open rate for the email was 80% higher, click rate up over 120%.

This is a big friggin' deal!

If you already know what AIDA is then this video is a waste of time. I was shocked all how little information it contained and how much they want to charge for it. Refund requested.

Just OK — basic, intro stuff

The course was pretty meh.

It was very basic stuff, which I could have gotten out of one well-written, organized blog post/article. I'm not crazy about the format either — I expected them to be a little more organized and focused, less chatty BS.

Not bad. A lot of rant, but mostly related to the subject.

I learned quite a bit. The most important piece, for me, was how to structure a sales letter, ad, etc. The format revealed simplifies the process and forces you to think in a particular pattern, the pattern that really works for a shopper.

Amazing Course....

A must-buy for everyone who is constantly emailing prospects and wants to learn the ropes of the copy writing skills. I am a business owner and have been writing boring emails (hate to admit but it's true) to prospects for years..but after taking this course I am super excited about putting everything I learned into practice. If you write emails, website copy, ads, newsletters.....you need to know this stuff

This is a great kourse. Nev breaks it down into easy bite size chunks that are very simple to understand but the concepts are awesome and make so much sense.

After watching this, you can easily identify web sites that use these techniques and the ones that don't.

I've watched it 2-3 times now and come back and review it when I need to do some Kopywriting.

PS. Look at that baller pic of Nev at the top with his Homer laptop. How can you say no to that guy.

Hmmm... Well played App Sumo!

DO NOT buy this if your intention is to get "so much freakin money right away" just by watching it. At first, I did not see immediate the value from this course. I thought, "Okay... good to know but, um... yea..." That was ONLY because I was a "wantrepreneur" as they say on this site. So many ideas. So many "I swear I'm gonna"s... LAME!

LATER ON when I got serious & had to start putting together my own marketing campaigns, web banner ads, squeeze page content, etc for my businesses, the principles Nevil teaches came rushing back to me and it became SOOO much easier to create effective copy for campaigns. Not only that, but also blog entries.

So should you get this course? YES! It's worth the money, but only if you are a SERIOUS entrepreneur.
