Sigurður took the Stranger Challenge.

The biggest roadblock keeping you from your goals is that nagging feeling in the back of your head saying, "I might fail."

Completing the Stranger Challenge subjects you to failure and rejection. You learn to stop letting that fear hold you back.

How did it feel for Sigurður?

So I went and did this.. and to make it extra hard, I decided to ask the hottest girl I would find.

Well, it so happened that I failed, but the challenge was fun. I got to experiment with a known psychological experiment; When you get a no, ask for something less and you'll very likely get a yes. (if you're cold calling and get a no, ask for a reference to another possible client and you'll increase your likelihood of getting a yes and a lead).

Anyway, when I got the "no", I asked her to take a photo of me with the "failed" sign, and she agreed .. :)

Sorry for the blurry image, but the camera didn't focus ;)

Always ask for a lesser favor (or sell a cheaper product [down-sell])

After I did this, I gave this poster to a friend who accepted the challenge and got a picture :)

I then gave it to an acquaintance and asked him to take the challenge with a hottie ;)
