“And these digital walls shall stand the test of cycles, and a new empire shall be born! An empire built not on your ability to be a prolific iOS coder but on your ability to capitalize on the App gold rush!” ~ Wise Words Of Sumo Right then, enough babbling on. Let’s get straight to the point here, Sumo-ling. You like money. So do I! (At last! A common interest besides gourmet buffets!) But this Sumo doesn’t want to spend hours upon hours learning how to code for the iOS platform in order to tap into the 25 BILLION app download market share. I’m not lazy, I just like cutting past everyone else. And by that, I mean that I could build my own app company with all the ideas I have for amazing apps but not even touch a single line of code. I’m a business Sumo, not a programmer. “But Sumoooo! That’s ridiculous! How are you supposed to build an app without learning to code first! Heretic!” Quiet down you! Let Chief Sumo explain... I just learned about a couple of guys: Chad Mureta & Vince Wong. Chad is the author of the new bestselling book, App Empire: Make Money, Have a Life, and Let Technology Work for You. He is also founder of Empire Apps and co-founder of T3 Apps and Best Apps, three mobile businesses that he created WITHOUT a background in technology and sold for millions. Chad had a major car accident where his car flipped 4 times... and he made his first app, Fingerprint Security Pro, from his hospital bed with one arm! Fingerprint Security Pro became a SENSATIONAL HIT, a top 25 iphone app that earned him over $600,000 to date. He has made 46 apps since, and just published a book with Wiley. You may have also have seen Chad recently featured by Tim Ferriss on the 4 Hour Work Week blog. Vince Wong, a.k.a. 'Sumo Wong', is a medical doctor and founder of Project 1%, where he shares the knowledge and wisdom of successful lifestyle entrepreneurs to help upgrade your life and escape the proverbial Rat Race. Just 6 months ago, Vince successfully exited and sold his first online business venture, and now continues to build new lifestyle businesses while traveling the world. His travel video was featured by Tim Ferriss on the 4 Hour Work Week blog. Vince and his team are also behind some of the action notes here at AppSumo's HQ, and he also loves his burritos. Vince and Chad met through a common friend who attended the Tim Ferriss $10,000 "Open The Kimono" event, and discovered that they also had the same business broker... they discovered they both had a passion for world travel and living the 4 Hour Work Week Lifestyle. Read that again... Chad built and sold multiple 4HWW lifestyle app businesses 'WITHOUT a background in technology!' and together with Vince, you will learn how to do the same in this delicious bundle of videos, interviews, screencasts, action notes, and tutorials. That means a fledgling Sumo like yourself who’s looking to build an “empire” for financial freedom and the ability to do the things you’ve always wanted to do, like travel the world, spend more time with your family, and end world hunger (results may vary), can do it too, by taking this How to Create and Market a Million Dollar App course. Imagine that... finishing the action steps outlined in this course, building a business that generates passive income 24/7 in your sleep, and having your friends and family all ask you how you did it! How would that change your life? Don’t worry... it's our little secret... You’ll get systematic advice on how to:
The last point is the most important part... getting insight to the App Store market. The App Store is one of your BEST research resources to scour that will tell you its dirty little secrets on successfully marketing your app. You can start building your own App Empire TODAY... ...but first let me get back to the whole “without touching a single line of code” statement. You can outsource the entire app project to someone else who already has the years of experience in coding, while you handle running the business side of things. Not quite the sexy, complicated answer you were looking for right? Be a business minded Sumo-ling and leave the technical parts to others. That’s how you’re going to make it, following through with the action steps in this guide. It pays to surround yourself with like-minded people, which is exactly why I surrounded Chad and Vince with this 512-lbs of delicious Sumo husk and persuasively persuaded them to share this course with our Sumo-lings! Don’t hesitate to give yourself the freedom you only read about in magazines and the news... give yourself the opportunity to learn a skill that would take someone else years of failure in order to learn. Sincerely, P.S. Here’s what you’re getting with this course...

If you didn't read appempire(Chad's book) , you will get something out of this. I figured for $50 that they would go further in detail about how to develop an app idea, as that is the heart of the process. And you do see them going through the app store and making comments, but they are the exact same as what he said in the book.
If you read the book, stay away don't waste your money. If you hats reading, then this might be for you instead of the book.

Great high-level overview of what to do. The videos share great information, but are a bit short. The supplemental documents and resources are very helpful. A bit more detail would have been very nice.

Good for someone who is looking for an uplifting story. But not as good content as many of the other Sumo videos.

Got the book and bought this to see if I could learn some more. Really cool - builds on the book's information a little - if you can afford it, it's a nice addition.

Absolutely worthless. I'll tell you everything they say so you don't have to buy it. 1.Sign up as an iOS developer 2.Look at what apps are popular 3.Outsource development. That's really all they say. The host annoyingly makes interjections of "oh yeah," "oh that's such a good idea," and at the beginning of every video he says something to the effect of "OK, now we're going to get into the really good stuff." Do not buy. Just a bunch of obvious dribble.
