I really loved this! Derek is so down to earth. He made me think every step of the way. He's the perfect antidote to over-thinking and over-complicating business. My take away was it's the little thoughtful things that you do that creates a lasting relationship with your customers.

Derek Sivers is a guy that you can relate to! He is talking to you, pretty much conversation style, about the things he learned while more or less falling into success.
In his introduction he poses the question "why should you listen to me?" I loved and he humbly says it was dumb luck that he was successful but the truth comes out towards the end. Ideas are worth nothing without execution.
Derek didn't wait until he had the perfect plan to start executing his ideas, he started with version 0.1.

Very good and inspiring. Simple, stright to the point...
The right mind set. I guess that people who gave low score/review expect something complicated, like politician style of language, which includes lots of fancy terms and words, attach an MBA, Master degree and a PhD to your name kind of stuff.

I grabbed this free video via Ferriss' 4H blog, certainly glad I did!
The reason why I found Derek's videos so insightful - and probably helpful to those who are trying to emulate 4HWW success is that Derek covers a few small but important steps for building a business - defining what you really want, nobody knows the future, humanizing your business etc. etc. ... watch the videos! Plus he delivers it in a pretty laid back way - not preaching but talking like it's sitting in your room and you're having a casual conversation.
Gave it 5 tacos cause it helped me refocus my business and life intentions. Thanks!

I serendipitously found Derik Sivers while web surfing to find photos for a site to describe how I serve the world. I LOVE the lessons he shares and the simplistic way he teaches. A real, down to each person, who figured "it" out early on and shares with us so we can live our passionate lives.
