Hey Nev, just finished the course and wanted to give my feedback.
- The subject line stuff on Digg was gold and easily worth the price of admission.
- The presentation was fast and easy to digest. I feel there was more than enough info to give me success writing copy.
One of the strongest parts of your course is watching you go through the process and make spelling mistakes and work through it. Don't think that people will think this stuff is boring, because it isn't.
This is exactly what people want to see because this is what people really struggle with -- just putting one foot in front of the other. Showing them in bite sized that this is how you stumble through the process will help more people than it will bore.
For example of use case, I completed my first piece of copy for my company by pausing and rewinding as I worked with you on the ad for your own kopy kourse.
Great job!Wayne L.
I just finished watching the videos. Then I went and reread my notes that I took from reading Gary Halbert letters, your Action Video with Andrew Warner Mixergy, the Meeting the Copywriting Greats post you did.
I literally laughed out loud at some of the videos, they were so funny. Envelope Exercise and monkey tail (I'm laughing right now just thinking about that...) in particular. In the video about the bad copy for the bar...right after you mention the Fuzz, there's a police siren in the background. That doesn't matter, it just made me chuckle.Aleks
Hi, Neville. I'm going through your Kopywriting Kourse right now. I'm an Austin-based copywriter too. I live and work in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood.
Anyway, I'm fascinated by your story in general, and I'm not ashamed to admit that even after years of copywriting, I'm learning some stuff from you!Rich
I’ll be showing you how to get the most out of this kourse, and WHY you should even trust me (Neville) to show you some stuff about Kopywriting.
Quite honestly, you can skip over this part if you like. The REAL value is in the next sections!
Like martial arts.....singing.....or sports.......you’ve gotta learn the mental-game first. I’m gonna teach you how to think like a good Kopywriter in this section (and don’t worry, I’ll keep it fun....and slightly offensive) ;-)
You're gonna learn:
We’re gonna take you through all the technical stuff of learning how to write like a Sumo Kopywriter.
You're gonna learn:
We go through learning copywriting very quickly here.....so if you’d like to continue your Kopy Kareer, then this section is for you.
You're gonna learn:
We wrap up everything here.....ON PURPOSE. This kourse is meant to be kwick, and we deliver!
You're gonna learn:
I did an interview about the KopywritingKourse with the (dashingly-handsome) Andrew Warner of Mixergy.com.....and you get this as a bonus video (he now charges for it).
Andrew even applied what he learned from the interview, and look what happend to HIS conversion rate!
So I watched this interview, excellent stuff. I'm positive this information alone will change my life.
I made a crazy connection with this information and was wondering if anyone has mentioned, or tried this before? Incorporating the AIDA technique to an internet dating profile!Tom
This is the best copywriting info I've ever seen! I love it! I just set up a completely new homepage because of this... it's not as edgy as you (it is tough to make it so!), but I think it actually has a chance of converting people: I just set up an A/B test on it... I'll report back!Ben Carlson
That was awesome. I found myself laughing out loud numerous times throughout the interview and taking notes all at the same time.
Neville thanks for the laughs and the AMAZING content and advice. I'm going to print off the 'Gary Halbert Boron Letters.'
I also read that blog post Noah wrote on 4HWW. It was awesome and I wish I read it a year ago when I first got started online. He's going to help a lot of people. You guys are going to be a deadly combo.
Andrew- I interviewed a few people for my site a couple of weeks ago. Interviewing is a skill and you make it look so easy. I noticed in this interview that you have an incredible skill at interviewing. I took notice of the fact that as Neville was talking you were completely silent and listened without any 'uh huhs' or anything, which is natural for people to do during normal conversation. But you showed incredible restraint at letting Neville go on and share his crazy awesome content. I don't think people realize how much of a skill that is. haha at least I think it's a tough skill :) MAD props to you.
Thank you both!Dain Lewis
Wow! Truly awesome interview!
Neville, you're tips are fantastic, and your attitude is incredible. Andrew, thank you very much for putting out content like this. THIS is why Mixergy is one of the best places sources of entrepreneurial learning.
Absolutely awesome, super inspiring!
Nev is exceptional and Andrew knocks it out of the park with his style and direct questioning.
Loved this one!Derek Dodds
omg this guy is totally COOL!! :D one of the best, most interesting and most useful interviews ever!! :)
cheers & thx! :)Dusan Nedeljkovic
because it contains ONLY what you need to know right away. We don't make things long "just so we can sell it at a higher price".
This Sumo’s attention span is roughly two hours, and that’s about how long this Kourse will take you (although we got some sweet bonus stuff for ya if you wanna spend more time).
We've had people take copywriting courses that cost well over $4,000 and still say ours taught them MORE!
We actually log you in and show you the emails that have made us the most money, and we show you real screencast examples.
AND YES.....THERE WILL BE SOME CURSING (If this Kourse had a movie rating, it would be PG-13).
I once bought an expensive product that has over 19 hours of DVD footage. I hardly watched any of it. IT’S TOO DAMN LONG!!
Here’s a couple of things that happened within the months after releasing the KopywritingKourse:
