Do you wanna be the CONTENT king? You know…content is king…the mantra’s ingrained in all of our heads by now—if you’re gonna be influential on the web, you’ve gotta know how to create lots and lots of compelling content.
People know that—they know it a hundred times over—but they still get stuck on the path to becoming the prolific content creator they dream of being. The desire’s there, but the progress isn’t.
Sound like you, Sumo-ling?
How many times have you fantasized about becoming…
…or anything else that lets you write your own meal ticket with the words that flow from your fingertips?
But do to any of those things, you’ve gotta be able to produce great content QUICKLY and CONSISTENTLY. Not one or the other—both. All the time.
So what’s a Sumo-ling to do?
Introducing…Michael Drew, the man behind 74 national bestsellers. He’s spent the past 14 years working with bestselling authors, helping them create content masterworks—the kind that earns them global praise and multi-million dollar paychecks.
He’s helped the most successful content creators navigate the ups and downs of the publishing lifestyle, cashing in on the inspiration highs and pushing through the writers block lows. As their muse, he’s helped land 74 books on national bestseller lists, like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.
So…he’s basically someone you’re gonna want in your corner if you’re about through trying to publish your own content and not seeing results.
‘Cause for the first time ever, he’s taking these tried-and-true techniques—the ones that’ve been quietly shared among top-shelf writers for years—and he’s passing it on to you with…
The Creation Method
Michael Drew’s process for unlocking your full creative potential, so you can create your best work in record time.
In this home audio training program, Michael walks you through a gamut of exercises, both self-reflective and practical, hand-on type stuff, to help you figure out how to write the right content, for the right audience, in less time than ever.
Here’s how it breaks down:
Module 1: Know Yourself
Finding Your Soul Purpose—Before you can be successful at anything, you need to figure out if it’s really what your heart’s set on. This session takes you through some immersive mind exercises that help you identify what yours is really set on.
Your Guiding North Star—Once you know what you’re aiming for, you’ve gotta make sure everything you do works toward that end goal. The North Star is a creative mind exercise that helps you build the principals that’ll guide you throughout your content creation career. You’ll have a stronger sense of how to make important decisions and meet the people who can really help you.
The Magic Wand—When you’re imagining your dream content creation career, shoot for the stars. The Magic Wand is a helpful mental exercise to help you visualize your ideal life as a way of keeping you focused, motivated, and excited.
Module 2: Know Your Audience
Understanding Your Audience with Persona Architecture—So now that you know yourself, you need to figure out who you’re writing for. Here you’ll explore Persona Architecture, a powerful behavioral psychology tool used by the Fortune 500s to craft an intimate understanding of your audience. You’ll know the way they think, the way they act, and know how to create content that sticks for them.
Module 3: Know Your Creative Potential
Your Future Bestseller in 30 Minutes?—Outlining is one of the hardest parts of writing a bigger piece of content, ‘cause you’re sitting at the beginning with nothing, trying to visualize the whole thing in its entirety. People get stuck here. For months. For years. Forever.
This book-outlining process is at the heart of The Creation Method, and lets you temporarily shut down your left brain (the part responsible for f*cking writer’s block) to lay out your entire content piece. You’ll learn how to channel free-flowing creative thought and create the title, summary, and 16 chapter outlines for your bestseller—all in under 30 minutes.
Turbo-charging Your Blog Post Writing—There are two big challenges with blogging and article writing, which is tough, ‘cause they’re two of the most important forms of publishing. The first is the consistency (remember our speed + consistency equation from earlier?). The second is your audience—even after you’ve nailed down who you’re writing for, it’s still a varied, fragmented group.
Here you’ll learn Michael’s system for rapid-fire blogging , helping you shut down your left brain and create powerful, relevant blog posts for all of the different persona types that make up your audience. You’ll get a schedule and strategy for appealing to your methodical, spontaneous, humanistic, and competitive readers.
Just giving these modules your attention for 30 minutes per day will help you treat your writing the same way that Michael’s bestselling, top-tier clients do. You’ll learn how to get past the biggest barriers that you’re setting for yourself and start building your content empire.
Sounds expensive, right? The writing coach of the stars, orchestrator of dozens of bestsellers…Totally worth it, but expensive.
Well, this Sumo called in some favors (more than usual) and signed on as Michael Drew’s personal dishwasher for an entire year, just so I can grab this one for cheap and pass the savings on to you. It’s worth it though, ‘cause great content is worth it. And it’s really hard. And you really need help.
So for a short time, you can get complete access to The Creation Method by book marketing expert Michael Drew…
For just $49.
You know you want to be an influential, successful writer, so treat it seriously. Put together a plan. Set yourself up for success and take the content throne.
Sincerely,
The Chief Sumo

hmmm.. I personally cannot understand the previous rating. There are some creativity exercises but I cannot see any "in depth audios" that other reviewers refer to. Not very much of explanations in the audios nor in the accompanying workbooks. What disappointed (and somehow annoyed) me most was the fact that you have time sensitive exercises and Michael really tells you things like "you have 5 minutes no"... a minute later he tells you "4 minutes", a minute later "3 minutes" and so on. A very convenient way for the author to produce 20 min. audios for each module. I think I could do that too (just not sure if potential clients will not be disappointed). I will go through this course till end, maybe something interesting happens although I don't expect it. You'd be better of buying some books (at 14 bucks each) from the great Jose Silva and the Silva Mind Group (seems like Michael has rehashed a lot of their stuff). My recommendation: Don't buy!

Hey Philipp,
Sorry you don't like the format of how Michael guides you through his exercises. His exercises have helped many authors and content creators create their best work and although we don't guarantee you'll come up with a NYT bestseller after this course, we believe this product will help a new writer come up with much better content than if they were to wing it.
Excited to hear about how you feel about the product after going through it completely.
If Michael's countdowns are just too distracting for you to give it an honest chance, then let us know and we'll refund you.

Everything about this product is pretty much useless. This course is so crazy and kooky I'm at a loss for words as to how this guy got so many coaching clients.
It's sold as a process to help you create faster. As in, create books, articles, courses, blog posts, etc. It does nothing of the sort. It's just a bunch of half-baked speed writing exercises that are kooky and too mindless to actually help you create anything of any real value. Also, this guy's attempts to have a hypnotic and soothing voice is completely laughable. It's only downright annoying to listen to.

Hi Sumo-ling. Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the program did not meet your expectations. As we are interested in hearing what exactly you didn't like about Michael's program, could you please drop us an email to support@mindvalley.com with more details? At the same time you should know that even though Creation Method has helped authors come up with best sellers, this doesn't mean that all writers will enjoy the exercises and the way Michael approaches writing. If you think there's any way we can go around it and offer you support in order to understand the program better, please don't hesitate to contact us, we'd be more than happy to give you a hand.

Hate it.
Shoulda read the sales letter more carefully. The truth is there. I blew right past it, looking for a quick fix.
Here's what I should have paid more attention to:
Module 1: Know Yourself
Finding Your Soul Purpose—<snip>
Your Guiding North Star—<snip>
The Magic Wand—<snip>
I hate this stuff. I get that some people enjoy it. I'm not one of them. Could be that I have a good enough understanding of my "soul's purpose" that revisiting is a waste of time; could be that it's simply a WOT.
Not happy at how the vendors are arguing with the reviewers here, either.

As someone who has struggled MIGHTILY with writer's block and its illegitimate child procrastination, I can honestly say that I have found this product to be WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD.
Of particular worth are the exercises that Michael takes you through- letting go and listening to these exercises is the secret sauce, as it forces you to squeeze and wring the creativity out of your right brain through time constraints. Those that think this aspect of the product is worthless are REALLY missing the mark.
Buy it. Try it. Love it.

No, you really miss the mark that people approach products like this from a different angle. You have absolutely no right to blame someone who thinks this is bs (as I do). Obviously - that's my serious opinion - you have not had many of these courses (inspiration, self-help, creativity) before because otherwise you would recognize that it's rehashed and sometimes even embarrassing what is sold for the amount of money. I therefore will ask for a refund as it is NOT worth this amount of money.
